SAPICS Basics of Manufacturing and Operations Management (BMOM)  

What is the purpose of this course?

The Basics of Manufacturing and Operations Management is an entry level course for those wishing to make a career in one of the many disciplines of manufacturing and operations management.  This course is designed to give an insight into the knowledge and skills required to actively participate as a member of the operations team.

How will I be assessed?

Final examination:

The final exam covers the full course content.  It is a closed book, 3 hours exam. A learner requires 50% to pass.

To pass the course and earn the Certificate of Achievement, a learner will need an overall score of at least 50% in the final examination with a combined minimum of 50% in the homework and final examination.
